    Building impactful certificate programs

Employer partners and members are expressing desire for shorter certificate programs (<12 months) so that they can upskill quickly. While credit and Title IV eligibility can be differentiators, they are not must-haves in this space.

Learning partners are innovating in this space. Many are breaking longer degree and certificate programs down into microcredentials, including credit and non-credit offerings.

    However, key challenges include:
    - Identifying the career aligned programming that will get learners promoted and that employers will be interested in
    - Generating enough demand for non-Title IV programs
    - Gainful employment

    Learning from your learners

Incorporate short, timely opportunities for learners to give targeted feedback on specific areas of interest throughout their journey. Learning Partners have seen success with:
    - Pulse surveys following orientation, the first week of class, midpoint of the term, etc.
    - Proactive outreach to at-risk learners (i.e. no course activity in a certain number of days, multiple failed attempts on an assignment, etc.)

Diversify channels for soliciting feedback from learners to increase their likelihood of participation. Learning Partners have seen success with:
    - Office hours or coach/advisor calls for synchronous feedback
    - Texting for learners on the go or plaintext emails for non-native English speakers utilizing translation tools
