Following Guild’s record year of impact, Chandran brings a depth of experience as a data and user-centric product leader to continue driving innovation at the company
DENVER, CO – January 24, 2024 – Guild, the leader in opportunity creation for America’s workforce, today announced that Rohan Chandran has joined the company as its new Chief Product & Technology Officer. In this role, Chandran now leads the company's increased investment in technological innovation through ownership and management of the product and solutions roadmap and strategy in partnership with leaders across the organization. He also owns and manages the company’s platform, data, and technology strategies.
Chandran’s appointment follows a year of record impact from Guild, bolstered by the introduction of a new product, Career Accelerator, along with other capabilities, to help support the end-to-end career advancement journey for Guild members and learners. He brings a distinct point of view on the intrinsic tie between Guild's product and the company's mission to create opportunity across the workforce. At a time of rapid digital transformation and with the workforce ripe for AI disruption, he has a critical understanding of emerging technology's ability to drive tangible outcomes for learners.
Chandran joins Guild most recently from Data Axle where he served as the company’s Chief Product Officer, leading its product, technology, and data functions. He has a deep background of leadership at scaling organizations, and commitments to clarity of purpose and operational efficiencies that are essential to Guild’s ongoing success.

Prior to Data Axle, Chandran led product, technology, and data at Shopkick, which was acquired by Trax Retail. He’s also held executive roles at Telenav, where he oversaw global consumer and mobile business units along with the marketing, analytics, and data functions. Additionally, he led the digital product organizations at YP, The Real Yellow Pages®. Earlier in his career, he was part of the founding team at CricInfo (now part of the ESPN family), and held product and engineering leadership roles at Infonox (now part of Total Systems), Yahoo!, and Experian Interactive.
Chandran holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
